The standard we've set ourselves.
Sir M. Visvesvaraya grew up in Muddenahalli, a village in Karnataka, and went on to build dams, banks, colleges and industries that still serve the state. He believed that discipline, honesty and hard work, applied patiently, lift whole communities. That is the standard we've set ourselves: a club is only worth belonging to if its members leave with a new partner, a new idea or a friend who opens a door. We keep his portrait on our wall as a reminder that the measure is what we build together, not what we announce.
Engineer, Dewan of Mysore and Bharat Ratna, he showed that a boy from a Karnataka village could build for the whole nation. The Club begins in Bengaluru, the city he helped shape, and carries his values into every place we open.
